“ a different way of expressing yourself,” junior Jessica Burgos said. “ your pictures look so much better,” senior Mary-Washington Munjam said. Most students who use the app liked VSCO more than popular apps like Instagram and Tumblr. “I feel like would be annoying,” junior Kendrah Nolasco joked. “At first I thought it was just filters for Instagram and then I realized that you could post on it and I started using it a lot more.” “I heard about it from my friend ,” Soghomonian added. Many users heard about VSCO either from a friend or through Instagram. “There aren’t any likes and you can post a lot of photos at once and no one cares.” “I like because it’s a lot more laid back,” sophomore Chase Soghomonian said.

The app’s description says that “because beautiful imagery trumps social clout, the number of followers, comments, and likes are absent from the platform.” Which seems to be more of a pro than a con for the app’s users. VSCO is a new app that allows you to express yourself through photography, with a wide range of filters giving a professional feel and look to your photographs.
You may have seen it in people’s Instagram and Twitter biographies, or heard about it around school.
